Introduction
FSA Ait MELLOUL organize the 1st edition of the International Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence ICBDAI'22. This event is a forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discus the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and issues in the field of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The Conference will be held in Ait Melloul city, Morocco. We welcome you to Ait Melloul city to experience the nature, history, and cultural.
KEYNOTE / INVITED SPEAKERS
Frank Domoney BSc MSc PG Dip(Economics) is a Big Data, Deep Learning, Machine Vision and GPU Evangelist and actively promotes the use of the technologies where appropriate. He is familiar with Virtualisation and Cybersecurity Issues and has a role as a Skill Transfer Engineer specialising in Technology Evolution and Economic Development and integration with EU programmes. After a thirty year career building Fixed, Mobile and Converged Telecommunications Networks for Vodafone, Three and BT in UK, Germany, France, Kosovo, Moscow and Egypt he saw the massive disruption introduced by Big Data, Blockchain, High Performance Computing and Modern Manufacturing, in both technology and business and how they enable Smart Cities and Smart Factories and offer enormous opportunity to people in the Developing World.
Arlindo Oliveira is a Singularity University expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is also a Distinguished Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, Portugal. Arlindo is the author of three books and hundreds of articles in the areas of algorithms, machine learning, bioinformatics and computer architecture. He was a researcher at CERN, Electronics Research Labs of UC Berkeley, Cadence Labs and INESC-ID. Arlindo Oliveira obtained a PhD degree from UC Berkeley, and his BSc and MSc degrees in EECS from IST. He is a member of the Portuguese Academy of Engineering, a senior member of IEEE and a past president of IST, INESC-ID and the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence.
